Operation Christmas Child Collection Week

occ collection weekNovember 16-23 is the National Operation Christmas Child Collection Week.  Gibson City Bible Church is a designated collection center.  Volunteers will be available to process boxes from area churches, organizations or families during the following hours:
 
 Monday, November 16  9-10:30 a.m.
 Tuesday, November 17  9-10:30 a.m.
 Wednesday, November 18  9-10:30 a.m.
 Thursday, November 19  9-10:30 a.m.
 Friday, November 20  2-4 p.m.
 Saturday, November 21  9-10:30 a.m.
 Sunday, November 22  10 a.m. - noon
 Monday, November 23  9-10:30 a.m.

Potatoes, Pie & Praise

thanksgiving backgroundPlan now to celebrate Thanksgiving Sunday, November 22, by sharing a meal together, immediately following Worship. Baked potatoes with many toppings will be served along with pie! Your help is needed. Signups are on the Information Desk for pies and for kitchen workers.  There will be an opportunity to publicly share words of gratitude during the Worship Service at 10:20.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Gibson City Bible Church is scheduled for Sunday, July 24. A cookout for those attending the meeting will precede the meeting immediately following Worship. All food, beverages, and table service will be provided. The meeting will begin approximately at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Only members of GCBC, however, are allowed to vote. Contact the office if you have any questions. Annual Reports with ministry/financial reports will be available later in July, prior to the Annual Meeting.

Concert In The Park

Tim Zimmerman and the King’s Brass return to the Gibson City North Park, 13th & Church Streets, Gibson City, Wednesday, June 14 for a FREE Flag Day Concert Event!  A meal of grilled burgers will be available for donation, beginning at 6. The concert will begin at 7.  Bring your lawn chairs and your family to enjoy a Concert at North Park* with your neighbors and friends! The concert is free of charge (Free Will Offering) and is sponsored by the Gibson City Bible Church.
 
*In the event of severe weather the concert will be at Gibson City Bible Church, 309 N State Route 47, Gibson City.  The meal will also be available at the church if the concert is moved due to extreme weather.
