FAQS

  • How long is a worship service?

In total, our worship services are about 70 minutes in length. You'll feel at home in our blended service which begins with announcements and prayer, followed with your favorite hymns and worship songs. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along. After the music portion of worship is complete, our pastor will share a relevant, encouraging and hope-filled message.

  • What's the culture like at Gibson City Bible Church?

Sundays at the church are friendly and unassuming. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest!

Wednesday nights are also a big deal at our church! Activities and ministries for all ages take place on Wednesday nights.

  • What is your main message?

Our main message is the main message of the Bible:  that God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son Jesus Christ, as a substitutionary sacrifice to bring forgiveness of sins to all peoples.  Those who trust in Christ’s death and resurrection receive eternal life, and are called to help others share in hope of this good news (~ the gospel), as we wait for Jesus’s return and his ultimate restoration of all things!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6
